Associate professor at the Department of Educational Sciences of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in Brno (Czech Republic). In his research he has long been focusing on the use of ICT in education and on e-learning, both in formal school education, tertiary education and in education of adults. He is also involved in teacher training. In the recent ten years, he has been the grantee or project partner in several research and development projects. He is (co-)author of the books about ICT in primary schools, teachers and technology, tablets in education and e-learning. He is also co-author of the Czech National Strategy of Digital Education until 2020.
Associate Professor Dr. Petr Novotný is Associate Professor at the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in Brno. His main fields of research are learning, work and innovation. His focus is divided between andragogy (including the elaboration of the subject of workplace learning) and methodology of educational research. Recent publications include book "Workplace learning. Possibilities of applying the concept of workplace learning in the Czech environment" (in Czech). He is also member of the research team working on “Intergenerational Learning in Various Social Environments” project financed by Czech Science Agency.

Principal of Secondary School from 2005 onwards to continue, English Department Head at Uniglobe HSS/College of Science from 2014 to 2015; English Lecturer at Global College of Management from 2005 onwards to continue; Visiting Faculty at Uniglobe College from 2009 to continue; Visiting Faculty at Global College International from 2013 to continue; Director of Professional Educators Limited, Lecturer of English at Kailali Multiple Campus from 1998 to 2006.
Kinley Seden is an Early Stage Researcher at the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. Prior to her enrollment here, she was a lecturer at Samtse College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan. She has 14 years of teaching experience at one of the Bhutan’s finest teacher education colleges, Samtse College of Education. She was leading the Post Graduate Diploma in Education programme at the College. She gained her Master´s degree in Economic Studies from the University of New England, Australia. She has developed a keen interest in action research and plans to further pursue research related to gender, education, teacher professional development and economics.
